Year: 2000

Set: Fleer Mystique (Rate)

Card: #112 Reuben Droughns

“ An OK design. Not great since the chrome/foil background doesn't scan well. I had to look at several scans of different cards to determine that the word in the background was "Mystique" and not the team name. Very hard to tell what it says in most of the scans. ” -captkirk42

“ This is a very interesting mystique card. With this scan, there is a lot of mystery because it being a chrome card. That is all carry-on. ” -cardcollector65jw
  2
“ I like the back of the card. I can live without the word Mystique behind the player. Having the name of the set in the upper left corner is good enough. ” -Brendan Barrick

“ This man has a lot of unnecessary letters in his name ” -pugchump

I see a couple comments about it saying "mystique" behind the player.  I could swear it says "rookies" behind the player.  Am I missing something?

Not sure about the image, but that's the problem with scanning chromes.

Yep, thats "rookies" behind the player on this card, as it's part of the set's rookies subset. Veterans have "mystique" behind them, though.
