“ Can't go wrong with a legend...the Ice brand is at its peak when it's on clear plastic, but this is not one of those years. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I like the ice effect on the background. ” -pugchump

“ Great looking hockey card for a modern card. ” -parsley24

“ Nice looking card of a legend. Can't complain. ” -DarkSide830

“ Nice looking Hockey card, but typical of modern mid to high end sets with the white background and gray and/or blue backgrounds. Hard to read player name the way it is sideways at the bottom. "Ice" logo too large and looks more like some strange "KE" logo. Back typical "Panini" back. ” -captkirk42

“ I'm not the biggest hockey fan, so don't usually recognize players names unless they're huge stars. However I lived for a stretch in Dallas (2008-2014), so I am familiar with Mike Modano from listening to sports radio on the way to work while living there! Nice shot and I always loved the Upper Deck sets! Thumbs up here! ” -bkklaos

“ Upper Deck Ice is one of my favorite sets to collect. This card being no exception. ” -Brendan Barrick

“ I'm starting to think that hockey gets the coolest looking cards. Lots of hockey in RCOTD lately, and I have liked them all. ” -switzr1

Might have been nice if they had used a different photo for the back. Not a fan of these superimposed backgrounds, but that's just a personal preference.

The Ice acetate cards are probably my favorite designed cards for hockey. The only drawback is they tend to have a lot of scuffs and fingerprints left on them.

I have always liked the upper deck ice cards. dont care about the backs too much. the front is the main attraction!
