Year: 1998-99

Set: Upper Deck - Game Worn Jerseys / Rookie Jerseys (Rate)

Card: #GJ33 Stephon Marbury

“ This must be one of the earlier jersey sets. I don't remember them in 1998. Not a bad looking card. ” -switzr1

“ Upper Deck usually does a nice job with their relic cards. This one is nice as well. I still enjoy it when I pull one of these. ” -Gunny

“ This design is pretty iconic. The second relic set in NBA history, but the first that's actually available, the previous year's are insanely rare. Never been a huge fan of Marbury but he spent one million dollars out of his own pocket to buy ppe for NY city hospitals during this pandemic so I absolutely respect him. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ NBA? Really now. ” -NJDevils

“ now that looks like a decent sized relic ” -DarkSide830

“ OK an early in the trend "Jersey" card. Very very plain both in the design and the actual all white relic. Even before they sometimes serial number, oh wait it's Upper Deck so they never serial number relics do they? you know things are messed up in the card industry when baby blue color variants of a base card are serial numbered to under 100 print run and cards with pieces of relics are not serial numbered. ” -captkirk42

“ Not sure why, I don't like it. It just looks so boring and plain for a jersey card. Maybe it is better in hand. ” -muskie027

“ I'm guessing complaints of "too much white", "all white jersey", etc. For me...I like it! I'd love to have this in my collection! ” -bkklaos

Marbury was great in the NBA but was even better in China where he is revered over there. They even made a movie about him.
