Whoever wrote the back of that card should have gone into politics. Valuable addition to the Bosox? His major league ERA thru 1961 was 6.03! It didn't improve much after that. At least he put up some good numbers in the minor leagues. There are no items of him with the White Sox in TCDB ... hey Topps, get to work on this!

Love vintage cards...this set isn't one of my favs and large head shots aren't my preference but still vintage and of interest. Poster on wood is interesting.
