“ Not a fan of pacific cards at all. But this one is not that pad. ” -parsley24

“ Nice card, especially the back. ” -NJDevils

“ I know I rail against parallels but I liked these. They didn't seem impossible to get and they were obvious right away, this is gold, this is red, this is silver. Too much white border but besides that this is a fantastic set. ” -davidhandberry

I like parallels, and I like most Pacific products. I like a low end parallel that is obvious, as you say, and also easy to get with a 1 per pack insert rate. That makes set building a parallel set a little tougher than the base set, but not too tough.  In fact, I'm working a combo parallel set of this 99 Paramount. I want 1 copper and /or 1 gold of each.

I like the design front some but not the use of foil lettering. Back I don't like the single year stats also don't like it vertical. How I missed seeing this last Tuesday?

I never liked Pacific's overuse of foil, but after years of seeing the same picture used across multiple sets (looking at you, Panini), I appreciate that they were able to use different pictures of the players.
