“ Another card game that I wonder if anyone actually played. I like Star Trek but am more into Star Wars. Missed out on a chance to meet Levar Burton recently at a Con, went by his area 3 times and all 3 times they said he was taking a break. ” -davidhandberry

“ Not a bad picture, but I am not a card game guy. ” -muskie027

I AM a diehard Trekkie, especially TNG. But even I have absolutely no interest in this set in any way.

As for this trying to rival MTG, it was made the year after the 1st MTG sets and didn't continuously make new sets every year. Is anyone still using the 1993 and 1994 MTG cards? Pretty sure they are all using the new cards now. I don't play any TCG's and really have no interest in playing them but I do have some cards from many types, including MTG. If I could get the ST:TNG cards for real cheap, I'd consider adding them to my collection of Star Trek cards. Otherwise, I couldn't care less.

I loved and played the Star Trek game, with modified rules. It is a two player game but I use to play with my mom and nephew, we would each take a faction and battle each other or work on the missions. We made it work and it was fun.

I have a ton of these (well I think the more common black border) from way back. I once tried to figure out how you were supposed to play the game but didn't have anyone to play it with nor did I really want to. Plus I didn't have enough of a "deck" to make things interesting even though I had started to try to collect the set. I recall the bridge crew cards were the toughest to find espeically Picard, and any ones for sale were outragously overpirced as usual. Probably still are.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies).

My Trade List is very much a work in progress
