Year: 2003

Set: Ultra - Double Up (Rate)

Card: #6 DU Barry Bonds / Jason Giambi

“ This same design was used in the NBA- but called Back to Back. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I understand many of the cards in this set, most of them are teammates or country mates. A few of them don't make sense to me. Yes, Bonds and Giambi are both American but most players are. If someone can explain why they were on this card together, please do. As for the card, I hate these back to back cards. I have several where two Braves are on the same card and I have to make a decision on who I have in front in my folders. I usually go alphabetically. So in this set Andruw Jones would be displayed and Chipper Jones wouldn't. ” -davidhandberry

“ Double up on those steroids! ” -kirkscards

“ With all the vertical writing, maybe the card should have been horizontal ” -NJDevils

“ Is this steroid shooting up lingo? ” -parsley24

I don't like these type of cards, double faced (or double backed) with two players. I can somewhat understand and tolorate players from the same team or players that have something in common like the same position or the number 1 and 2 ranked players for a certain stat or share a name or something like that but just two random big named stars makes no sense. I avoid cards like this, even if the two players are PC players of mine.
