I WAS playing D&D at this time, but I don't recall these cards AT ALL! Nobody that I played the game with was pulling out these cards. They MIGHT have helped with the game then, but only if a newbie jumped in and had a pre-built character b/c of these cards. I collect the books, but not the cards. Every time I see anything D&D-related, I now think of the "The Big Bang Theory" TV episode where the women join the men after they got turned away from a trip to Vegas. Leonard says "We've never played (D&D) with girls before." and Penny says "No one has.". Every time I hear that, I know it's a lie. It's a funny joke, but it's still not true (at least not to me). I've played many games over many years and had women playing the game along with us. The early years of my involvement in D&D culture may have benefitted greatly from some "illegal drugs" but there was still a good variety of us playing the game. I haven't played it in probably 15-18 years now, but D&D was a fun paper game to play. I still have a few notebooks sitting around here with characters created by people playing when I was the Dungeon Master around 2000. And I still have a Crown Royal velvet bag full of the multi-sided dice needed for the game (and some "jewels"). D&D was fun when you had enough people playing. It was kinda like Poker or Monopoly; the more people, the more fun it could be.
NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now.
