“ For some reason these cards have always felt kind of sticky and greasy at the same time. The purple borders are very dark on this set, too. I don't know why but the 2000-01 season fell flat for me on NBA card designs...the 2000 NASCAR designs do as well. I almost wonder if the card companies expected Y2K to be a real thing and didn't put much effort in the card design expecting the world as we know (knew?) it to end. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I liked this card and then I decided to double check something and the Topps base set looks exactly the same. The base set regular card would get a perfect 10 from me. It is kind of saved by only having this one parallel and I do like the chrome parallels but I have grown to hate parallels in general over the past decade. One or two was one thing, such as the chrome, tiffany, gold, opc, or whatever but when they started gold, silver, platinum, red, orange, green, all for the same set I started hating them. As it is, this card I would give an 8 to for being a great card but being a parallel. ” -davidhandberry

“ Not going to say anything about the Chromeness of this one. Side text bad. Can barely make out his team logo at bottom (think its the dark scan not the design, but chrome designs do contribute to bad scans.) Back pretty useful but too colorful. ” -captkirk42
