Year: 1991

Set: Impel Star Trek 25th Anniversary (Rate)

Card: #183 The Omega Glory

“ I have never collected non-sports cards and they don't interest me in the least but the back made me want to watch that episode of Star Trek. It sounded pretty good. I never did the Star Wars or Star Trek thing. I always liked them both but I lean towards the Wars most of the time. ” -davidhandberry

“ Love this set on several levels. Binge built the set in 91 Forget how long it took to complete but was a rarity set I went full steam busting packs of it to get it complete. Not a fan of it being split odd cards TOS and even Next Gen, but that is the way they did it. At the time Impel was based in Maryland so I thought that was cool and I really dug Impel products since they were "local" to me. ” -captkirk42

I still need most of the 2nd Series cards of this set. I still don't care for the design of the set (front or back). But at least the info is there on the back for each card. For this specific card, I don't like it. I didn't like the design in the first place and the episode is pretty crappy too. I wouldn't search for this card at all if I wasn't trying to complete the set.

FYI, I don't need a TO from you Shawn! I know it will show up if I don't deny it now!!!

Grew up in the wild 60's watching the 1st generation on Star Trek and although looking back perhaps a slight bit "corny" shall we say, in it's era was hard to beat... (Still can't quite get into the subsequent series though that may be attributed to an "age-thing"! Decent card though I have none.
