Year: 2013-14
Set: Score (Rate)
Card: #486 Ben Scrivens
“ Classic Score design. Some of the first cards I collected when I came back to the hobby. Nice clean crisp fronts, the backs were capable but bland. Can still smell them typing this!! Solid B+ ” -ranfordfan
“ Great action shot, though at first I didn't know who the card was for the goalie or the guy standing up. Had to look at the player position on the card. What I always hate about hockey cards and football cards is that too often the face is covered so you don't get to see the player. One of things I like most about card collecting is getting to know the players and you don't feel like you know them without seeing the person's face. Besides the photo on this card I would say everything else is rather boring. The front has a boring white border, and the back is black and white, like looking at a newspaper clipping. I thought at first this was an early 90's Upper Deck which would have given it at least some nostalgia points but instead a 2013-14 Score gets nothing. Front a 5, back a 0. ” -davidhandberry
“ There was a time when card companies actually cared enough to put a little thought or creativity into the backs of the cards. Those times are obviously long extinct. ” -mkaz80
“ The Leafs could have used a backup goalie with those numbers this season. Still, it's not like that would have helped them beat Boston. ” -DanD
“ I like this set a lot. I like the 2012-13 version more, but this set runs almost a thousand cards...showing Panini can do things right if they choose to...but unfortunately they choose not to. If the backs had been team color coded like the 2012-13 set, I would probably consider this my favorite NHL set ever. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ Scrivens was not the best but he did have that one 59 save game way back when. ” -Tylergallo
“ I wish I collected a couple of the Score Hockey sets during my 'away' years. Every time I see one, I think they look awesome! ” -muskie027
“ This photo made me laugh. ” -switzr1
