Year: 2015

Set: Topps 5x7 - Red 5x7 (Rate)

Card: #43 Jonathan Stewart

“ I miss Topps football. Sigh. The final set. It really is sad that after all those years they had to stop making football or go as an unlicensed product. ” -muskie027

“ Sadly 2015 was the last year of Topps Football. Overall it was a nice looking set not sure if I would attempt to get any of these oversized cards of my teams and probably won't even try the red parallel version. ” -captkirk42

“ Its red so that means it is one of the 500 parallels. Didnt like how the 3 year run of cards all looked the same. but a great photo on front. ” -parsley24

“ I like that blood red border on the front. Good looking jumbo card. ” -CollectingAfterDeath

“ Is there also an Undersized Red 5x7 set? ” -switzr1

I don't care much for the border color or design of this one, but I'd love to have it in my Panthers PC. I'm also happy that Jon signed a 1-day contract with the Panthers just before the draft so he could retire as a Panther. He was drafted by them in 2008 and played all of his season and post-season games with them. He was released after the 2017 season and signed with NYG. But he got hurt and didn't play in the 2018 season. Injuries really messed up his final stats but he was a really good RB for many seasons. For an RB to get 10 seasons with all the injuries he had to deal with is pretty impressive. If he hadn't been part of an RB tandem with De'Angelo Williams, I doubt he'd have played more than 5 years though.

Wow, it’s only been 4 years since Topps had an NFL set. I really miss it.
