I still like the 1992 and 1993 designs of Pinnacle in any sport. The black border is highly susceptible to wear and chipping though. They didn't leave much room for stats on those cards, but with a nice photo and plenty of other info, it was acceptable.

I'm not a hockey guy, but... Sorry Whalers fans, but we're keeping them in Carolina. At least they finally made the playoffs again after a decent drought.

Average as hockey cards go. I always hate black border cards though.

In this day and age, I'm sure a team nickname like Whalers would be frowned upon ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I have quite a few cards of the American version of this set and a bunch of 93 Pinnacle baseball cards. I personally like this design tbh.
