There... Now we've got the saddle on. How do you suppose we get on it?? We're gonna need to make a ladder, I guess.

MTG rules say all printings of a given card have the same tournament legality, so yes you can use cards with text in different languages in the same deck. However, you do have to explain the card's abilities to your opponent on request and misstating an effect is an automatic disqualification that's relatively easy to detect since most players are familiar with their native language version, so it's done more for "geek cred" than for gameplay advantage. You see five of the cards in your library.  You can reveal a dinosaur card to one of them and take it with your hand.  The rest of the kids are in the order you want.  Had my wife translate it.
