Random Card of the Day |
Thursday, July 26, 2018Year: 1992 Set: SkyBox Doomsday: The Death of Superman (Rate) Card: #6 Civilization's Scourge! “ This was an amazing time to be comic fan. I remember reading these books for the first time back in 1992. It's one of those events that stick with you...I would suppose like how my mom talks about remembering all the details of the moon landing, etc. I was 8 when this happened and when I got the cards. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ I am sad. The border, the look of the back and front are amazing. Then it is a comic book card. I know lots of fans of Superman but none of them are card collectors. You have to have a specific demographic that not only likes comic books or Superman but also likes collecting cards. That does not seem like it would be a huge market. ” -davidhandberry
“ Lots of non-sport cards of late. ” -cjjt
“ DC Comics cards. Most of these are pretty good, but this random card is a poor example. I wasn't sure what I was looking at on first glance. My first thought with seeing some of the green of the figure was it was a Marvel Comics card with The Incredible Hulk. ” -captkirk42
“ Is the front upright as shown? Or rotated 90 degrees and the words should be on top? A little hard to tell which way gravity is affecting the pieces that are being broken off here. ” -kents_stuff
“ More non-sport. More eh. Not my thing. ” -muskie027
