Year: 2000-01

Set: Stadium Club (Rate)

Card: #153 Darius Miles

“ So I guess his high-school didn't keep stats?? Went and read up on him via Wikipedia. Sad tale. ” -rmpaq5

“ Miles was touted as the "next big deal" but never quite reached expectations. A solid player but there was too much expected of him. He was thought of as one of the marquee rookies of the 2000 draft. The 2000-01 Stadium Club set was a nice set even if it was too small. The cards have an interesting coating on them that gives them a unique feel in hand, something that was only used on the Stadium Club brand at the time. While I've got well north of 100 cards of Miles I still need this one. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Overall, a bust as a player and the number 3 overall pick. At least he got a cameo in the movie Van Wilder! ” -carthage44

“ I can't decide if the 'Did Not Attend' college note on the back is funny or sad; seems they could have picked a better description that doesn't sound so insulting ” -Brimose

“ At least they were able to squeeze the players arm into half the photo. ” -NJDevils

“ Nice design for Stadium Club. Getting a little chuckle from the "College Record: stats on the back "Did Not Attend". Why not just say he was drafted out of High School? ” -captkirk42

“ Back looks strange where college stats should be had he played in college. I'd prefer a place on the front for position. Not my favorite of photo choices on the front. The name blocks out a good chunk of the actual photo and a lot of wide open space in the top corners. ” -Mitch

“ Stadium Club always had such great photo quality. There was always something that appeared to be missing from them though. This isn't a bad card, but ends up looking more like a picture than a card. The back works, but something is missing from the front. ” -muskie027
