Year: 2012

Set: Topps Mini (Rate)

Card: #93 Skip Schumaker

“ Good scan, decent design. Looks like he's dancing the Robot. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Topps is good. Minis, not so impressed. The 75 set was fine, but why miniaturize now? ” -Kaline6

“ Hi Five!!!! ” -RoyalChief

“ Like flagship topps but really tired of all the parallel sets especially the minis. I'm tending to stick only with minis from retro sets like A&G and the like. Too many minis. ” -captkirk42

“ Nice photo, but an otherwise unremarkable card of a forgettable player. According to the blurb, he's "scalded" two game-ending homers in his career. Sounds odd, but better than "spanked" two homers... ” -dilemma19

“ I like the front although I would prefer if the last name was a little easier to read. Silver on black is not great in my opinion. I'm not fond of the back design. Too much black and grey. ” -Mitch

“ Topps baseball has gone by the wayside. ” -carthage44

“ I have a "love / hate" relationship with minis'....I have some the size of a postage stamp, and others not much smaller then the actual card....I will always take them in a trade, but don't go out of my way to buy them either.... ” -engine614

Most of us know Skip for reasons shown by Topps card 93b. One of, if not the, most desired cards in 2012 Topps.

Nice design, makes me want to collect the regular Topps sets.

One of my favorite sets from the past 10 years (base set, not mini).  Topps came out with 3 heavy hitters in a row from 2010-2012.  The Cardinals were just coming off of a World Series Championship when this set came out.
