Year: 1989

Set: CMC Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons (Rate)

Card: #20 Joe Redfield

“ Neat card. Design looks more early 80s than 1989 but there's no question this is an 80s design. Check out the font used for the TV station ad on the back, too. I've been to both Scranton and Wilkes Barre as well, in fact I even purchased some cards there. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nothing is wrong with this card. Name is clear on front, with the position. The back has full stats and gives the league, level, and major league affiliation. And a real card number, not the uni # (and big and clear). Real nice card. ” -vrooomed

“ I was never a big fan of minor league cards, but the more I see them the more I like them. ” -engine614

“ The first thing that caught my eye...his right hand is not gripping the bat. I like the simple design. It would look better with a color border. I guess they were trying to save money on ink. ” -C2Cigars

“ Not bad for a minor league card. Interestingly got traded back to his hometown team after the '88 season. ” -DarkSide830

“ A solid minor league card. ” -NJDevils

“ Besides his oh for two in 88 with the Angels, went 2 for 28 with the Pirates in 91. A career .100 hitter. Maybe it's that loose bat grip! ” -Kaline6
