Random Card of the Day

Year: 1995

Set: Traks - On the Rise First Run (Rate)

Card: #OTR 17 Ricky Craven

“ First run parallels of the base set were issued one per pack....I'm not sure anymore what the odds were of the inserts' First Run parallels. Craven did win 1995 Rookie of the Year, but is most well known for winning the closest race in NASCAR history- 3 hundredths of a second at Darlington in 2003. That equates to about an inch and a half. He later worked for ESPN. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Ricky's cute and handsome ” -dah15

“ Eww. Looks like a cheap photoshop card design. ” -koloth42

“ Nice card except for the gold foil printing. **sigh** it was the 1990s. I really wish card companies would stop using that as a main design feature. Using foil for "RC" designation or some kind of award, or a small logo would be OK, but NOT for the player name, team name or dang set title. Back is pretty plain but then again it is racing so unless the driver has a long career what sort of stats could you list? ” -captkirk42

“ Wow, a guy with sunglasses. Wonder what they will come up with next. ” -NJdevils

“ I have to know...did he win rookie of the year? Also, I'm not generally a fan of cards with only a last name on the front. This is no exception. Still better than that surfing set with only first names though. ” -switzr1

If you want to see the kind of stats we have in NASCAR, go here- http://racing-reference.info/driver/Ricky_Craven

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

Ok, we get it. You don't like Nascar, but what's the point of being rude to Billy?
