Decipher's ability to make a good game really went off the rails between 1999-2001. The Young Jedi game was wretched, and this game - Jedi Knights - was a desperate attempt to stave off losing the gaming license to Wizards of the Coast. And it was a shame, because WotC's CCG was worse, but their Star Wars RPG based on D20/3rd edition D&D is the best system anyone's ever attached to that license.
