I liked the Playoff Prime with the pack inside the pack. Had the SP's and RC's in the inner single card pack.

Any set that the "Rookie" cards weren't college cards.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I answered "I don't know". I didn't realize it until now, 1990 is went I went nearly exclusively to baseball, thanks to UD, Ultra, Score, etc...

An interesting revelation decades in the making. Thanks TCDB!

I don't know which is "best". I hit other to shout out 1989 Pro Set that got me into collecting. Oh, that isn't 1990, my bad. College photo but pro team assigned. Some inset pictures on back had player holding pro jersey with coach. #494 Barry Sanders is still one of my favorite cards.

Pacific and Collector's Edge were both good

I have to say, the best set with having the best rookie cards each year would be fleer ultra and upper deck.

This was my thought exactly--Ultra was great for rookies. But the flagship Fleer was sometimes awful for rookies, so I gave my vote to Upper Deck.

1989, 1990 and 1991 pro set contained heaps of rookies for me
