Hello, I'm pretty confident this card isn't listed in the database, but I can't find a checklist.  Anyone have any more information on this set?  Thank you

It's this card for regular packed cards, but I don't know where the Media Sample versions came from

I don't have any proof, but I don't recall seeing these 'media' cards until after the CE bankruptcy. My theory is that whoever bought these cards knew that unserialized/incomplete cards were less valuable and figured they would stamp something special on the back to make it seem rare.

Seems questionable. Some of ones on comc, handwritten? 

Or the placement of the stamping.

If they made media samples, wouldn't they stamp full sheets prior to cutting? And then the placement would be consistent.

Years ago I meet a guy with several odd Elway cards.   He stated he worked for CE before and during their bankruptcy..   Per him CE had a lot of cards that were known as "What If" cards.    These were cards that they were thinking how to mark them for Promos and how to give them out.    These were to be destroyed but did not.

Per him some went out the back door and others sold in the bankruptcy.  So these maybe them BUT no way to prove it.  There are people out there willing to stamp/mark card to get more money.
