As a typical American, that story has faded from the headlines and has been all but forgotten from my mind. I imagine the road to recovery is still a long one.

Very long. They've barely started clearing properties after doing hazmat removal. People are still in temporary housing. The banyan tree that took up a block now only takes up half a block at most....they removed the dead portions recently. The historic sites that are left are just walls. The foundation y'all gave to, has used some funds to reinforce the walls that lost their support structures. Some artifacts recovered, but so much left to do.

UGH!

Can I haz free cards 4 my cat? He loves collecting, too. He just sad he can't pay 4 cards since he no haz job. I promise I iz not cat typing on keyboard while hooman iz using hooman litterbox.

If you’re going to make up a fake story, at least put some effort into it. If your grandpa really did pass, then I’d send my thoughts and prayers out to you, but that doesn’t automatically mean you get free cards because of a supposed “dying wish.”

Then there is the other side of the coin.  dantheman and I are in the midst of a small trade. He shipped very quickly and I already have the card.  My end is in transit.  He may be taking an odd way of getting cards, but he's ok with me on trades.

 I've been upset since The Bengals lost the big game. The only cure is '89 Fleer Billy Ripken cards (you know the one).All help is greatly appreciated. Remember, the best nation is donation.

Reminds me of something on facebook recently. Was selling some of the new Tim Hortons Duos.  5 cards individually priced, $160 total, they were all OBO. Guy messages me, saying  "$100 and I will take them all" I counter with $140?  He said his son only has $100 from his birthday and only wants the exact cards that I have, and I wasn't working with my "obo" I should take it cause that is his best offer. I said I cant let them got for that much off, thinking he would counter the $140.
Get another message from him asking to give them to him for $90 now, cause his son miscounted his money and how I need to be the "hero" and let his son have the cards.   I ignored, and get another message asking me to hold them til next week, with no reason stated for me to hold them.

After the EXPO I marked the cards as sold, and he messages me giving me sarcastic remarks about how I wouldn't work with his son.
I replied back asking why couldn't he chip in the amount needed, and not to blame me for him not being able to afford things for his son, called him a dead beat ***wipe and posted a youtube link to the Rolling Stones song  "can't always get what you want". Never received a reply back.

Why feed me BS stories to try and gain sympathy. I've been selling things online long enough to have heard every excuse to sell for next to nothing, and even some trying to get me to give it to them for free.
