I want to love 1989 UD - it's iconic and had such an impact on the industry (both good and bad).

But so much of the photography is *so dark* in this set - definitely detracts from the photos.

Love 1989 Upper Deck.  They were fresh with photography upon release 

I remember Doug as a sold deliver for the Tribe.

Doug Jones was a great contrast to so many other closers of that era. It was fun to watch him make sluggers look silly.
